Great news! We're starting work on a new horror anthology! We're talking eerie, or creepy, or Gothic. We are NOT interested in overly gory fiction or slasher fiction.
The theme for this anthology is TEETH. We are looking for eight short stories in the 3000 to 3500 word range. Previously published short stories are not eligible for this call.
Payment will be $200 if your short story is accepted; payment will be once the publishing contract is signed (contracts will be sent in April 2026).
To submit, please follow the standard format for short story submissions (https://www.shunn.net/format/) and submit to dreampunkpress@gmail.com, with "submission for TEETH anthology" in the subject line.
All who submit will be notified of acceptance or not by 15 April 2026; if you have not been notified by that date, feel free to inquire. Inquiries submitted before that date will not be acknowledged.
If you submit and your short story is accepted elsewhere, please notify us by sending an email with "rescind submission" in the subject line followed by the title of your submission.
